Details: Gunnison River flows near Gunnison are at 738cfs. These flows are much lower than normal for this time of year. The clarity is ideal and the Caddis and Green Drakes are throughout the river creating wonderful dry fly opportunities for walk-wade and float fishing.
Suggested Patterns: Elk Hair Caddis (brown) 14, 16 ; Parachute Adams 12,14,16 ; Hairwing Green Drake 10,12 ; Parachute Madam X (yellow) 14, 16 ; Morrish Crystal Humpy 12,14.

Details: 779cfs below Gunnison Tunnel. The Salmon fly hatch is coming to an end but the Golden Stones are still the cause for very good fishing.

Details: East River flows are 302 cfs at Almont. The fishing is excellent with dries and droppers. The Green Drakes are on their way.
Early season is the time for best productivity at the Wild Trout Waters of the Roaring Judy.

Details: The Taylor is flowing 255cfs out of the reservoir. Very good fishing at these levels in all public accessed areas.
Look for the unoccupied pullouts and fish a shorter leaders at 7.5ft to 8.5ft. High stick the pocket water with a big dry fly and a dropper.
