Fishing Report for the Gunnison River 8-30-10:

The Gunnison is flowing at 507 cfs. The fishing on the Gunnison has been good. Streamer fishing has been great. Big nasty articulated streamers in olive, black, yellow, white have been the ticket. The dry fly fishing has been good in the mornings and evenings.
The salmon are here! Make sure and have an assortment of eggs, San Juan worms and bright colored streamers in your box. The Gunnison River is a must to fish with these present conditions! Give us a call at the shop if you have any questions. 970-349-1228.

Silvey's Streamers (black, olive, white) Bow River buggers, Merne M.R.s Blue Wing Olive, size 16, 18, Merne M.R.s Pale Morning Dun, size, 16,18, Copper John 14, 16! Baetis nymph 16, 18; Dries such as yellow stimulator 12, 14; Elk Hair caddis (evening) 12,14,16; Parachute Madam X (royal) 14, 16
