Current Conditions: East River Flow: 215 cfs at Almont as of October 11th, 2014.
East River Fishing Report as of October 11th, 2014: The East River is worth a stop this time of year. There is plenty of open water, good hatches and great flows because of the rains. We are seeing midge and baetis hatches throughout the day and fish are quite active.
Suggested Fly Patterns: Psycho Prince in sizes 12 - 14, Red Two Bit Hookers in sizes 14-18, King Prince in sizes 12-14, Hot belly pheasant tails in sizes 14-16, Egg Patterns (micro), Zebra Midges in sizes 18-22, Idyl’s not much midge, Jujubee Baetis Midge, all in sizes 16 & 18. Hi Vis BWOs in sizes 18-20, Sierra Dot in sizes 18-22 and Slys midge in size 18.
