East River Fishing Report as of April 25th, 2015:
The East is fishing well with moderate flows and good water clarity. The best access and public fishing is at the Roaring Judy Fish Hatchery which offers about 2 miles of water on the East River as well as fishing in 3 spring fed ponds. This is a great place for beginners and experts alike to hone skills.
Suggested Fly Patterns: RS2s in gray and black in sizes 20-22, Two-Bit Hookers in red and light brown sizes 16 - 18, King prince in sizes 12-16, Not much bronze in size 20,Hot Belly Pheasant Tails in sizes 16-18, San Juan Worms, Cream/Olive Zebra Midges in sizes 18-22. Egg patterns in orange, pink and red, Parachute BWOs in sizes 18-20, Griffith's Gnat in sizes 20-24.
