East River Fishing Report as of May 4th, 2016:
Just like the Gunny, as we approach June and the peak of run off we will see the East continue to rise with warmer weather and longer days. The exception will still be any cool spells which will slow down the melt and make fishing a possibility. For now the fishing is tough with very low visibility.
Suggested Fly Patterns:
Black zebra midges in 20-22, Pat's rubber legs tan/brown in 6-10; San juan worms in 14-16; WD-40s in sizes 20-22, Caddis larva in sizes 16-18, Olive two bit hookers in sizes 14-16, Syl's midge in sizes 20-22, Dark RS2's in sizes 18-20.
