Current Conditions: East River Flow: 558 cfs at Almont as of July 15th, 2014.
East River Fishing Report as of July 15th, 2014 The East River is fishing very well right now as we are seeing very good hatches of caddis, PMD mayflies and Green Drake mayflies. Wading is still a bit tough with strong flows but the fish are in the pocket and holding waters.
Suggested Fly Patterns 20 Inchers in 6-10, Hair Wing Green Drake in sizes 10-12, Film Critic Green Drake in 10-12, San Juan worms in 12-14, Prince Nymph in sizes 14 and 16. Psycho Prince in sizes 12-14, Zebra Midges, Jujubee Baetis Midge, all in 16’s & 18’s. Caddis emergers and elk hair caddis in sizes 14-16, Green copper johns in sizes 10-12.
